I know I know its getting close to "that" time of year again, but I have to admit that I personally LOVE this time of year! My mom taught us right though, its not about the gifts or the money, but the time together and the love of one another... Its the time of year that you should all be there for one another no matter what. If you think about the great things this time of year gives us, it truly is FULL of Blessings!
So I'm going to give you all the tips that I have been blessed with to be able to give to my family and friends for very little money.
~Don't make a limit of how much money you spend on someone, I feel like when you do that, a few things can happen, You can spend $20 and do all the sales and such, and over whelm someone with how much you got for them and then they feel bad, (I do believe you can go overboard.)
You can just buy a $20 gift set and there isn't any personal feeling behind that.
~If its free and you know someone who can use it give it to them. It doesn't mean you're cheap, it actually means you're thoughtful, and its not like you should give someone something and tell them what you spent on it.
~If you find an amazing deal on something even though its not in season, that's OK..... they will use it eventually.
~Using stuff from your couponing.... I love this! Say you found a bunch of stuff that you got for free or very cheap cause you thought you could use it all and now you don't know what to do with it.... You can make up a cute gift basket, or donate it to whatever charity you like. One thing I'm doing is making up make-up bags for some of the girls
in my family! SHHHH!
~ My daughter LOVES Clifford the Big Red Dog! They have the books and the plush toys at KOHL'S for $5 each, not sure about the books though, but I'm pretty sure they are too. Anyways, the money from those go to charity too! That's one of my favorite gifts.
~Another thing I use is Swag bucks, Ive got some pretty awesome toys for my daughter by using them!
Here is the deal with them
